Shri Apurva Chandra, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, introduced the “People’s G20” eBook in New Delhi today. The unveiling took place in the presence of Shri Manish Desai – Principal Director General of the Press Information Bureau and other senior officials from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and PIB. The eBook offers a comprehensive overview of India’s G20 Presidency, divided into three sections.
The first section focuses on the significant G20 Summit held on September 9-10, 2023, in New Delhi. It covers the G20’s structure, operations, and the initiatives undertaken during India’s Presidency.
The second part summarizes the meetings of various Working Groups under the Sherpa and Finance Track, along with engagements held across the country since India assumed the Chair.
The final part of the eBook showcases a photo essay of Jan-Bhagidari events held nationwide over the past year, transforming India’s G20 Presidency into a people-driven movement.
