Major Rejig in Assam Police Service – 18 APS transfers  | The Himanta Biswa Govt has shifted 18 APS Officers across the state with immediate effect , the names of the officers are :

1. Shri Mugdhajyoti Dev Mahanta APS (Assam 1995) presently Superintendent of Police- Sonitpur transferred to Assam Police Headquarters.
2. Shri Bedanta Madhab Rajkhowa APS (Assam 1995) presently Deputy Commissioner of Police (Security & Intelligence), Guwahati transferred as Superintendent of Police- Lakhimpur.
3. Shri Debojit Deuri APS (Assam 1995), presently Superintendent of Police- Karbi Anglong transferred as  Superintendent of Police- Tinsukia.
4. Shri Gautam Borah APS (Assam 1995) presently Deputy Commissioner of Police -(East), Guwahati  transferred as Superintendent of Police- Majuli.
5. Shri Manabendra Dev Ray APS (Assam 1995) presently Superintendent of Police- Hojai  transferred as Commandant- 10^th A.P.Bn, Kahilipara, Guwahati.
6. Shri Rajen Singh APS (Assam 1995) presently Superintendent of Police- Biswanath  transferred as Superintendent of Police- Baksa.
