Punjab Govt reshuffles 10 IPS in Punjab Police – Indian Bureaucracy | The Amrinder Singh Govt has shifted 10 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect, the names of the officers are :
- Shri Rohit Choudhary IPS (1988) presently Special DGP-Policy and Rules, Punjab transferred as Special DGP, Punjab State Human Rights Commission.
- Shri Ram Singh IPS (1994) presently ADGP- Modernization given additional charge of Cyber Crime Division and State Crimes Records Bureau (SCRB), Punjab.
- Shri Promod Ban IPS ((1995) presently IGP- Ropar Range transferred as ADGP- Special Crimes and Economic Offences Wing(EOW), Punjab.
- Shri M F Farooqui IPS (1995) presently IGP- PAP Jalandhar transferred as ADGP- Public Grievances Division, Chandigarh.
- Shri Amit Prasad IPS(1995) presently IGP- Counter Intelligence (CI), Punjab transferred as ADGP- CI and OCCU, Punjab.
- Shri Vibhu Raj IPS (1996)presently IGP- Vigilance Bureau , Punjab transferred as ADGP- Vigilance Bureau, Punjab.
- Shri Lakshmee Kant Yadav IPS (1996) presently IGP-cum-Director, Vigilance Bureau,Punjab transferred as ADGP- Vigilance Bureau.
- Shri Kaustubh Sharma IPS (2001) presently IG- Jalandhar Range, Jalandhar given additional charge of IGP- OCCU Punjab.
- Shri Gurpreet Singh Toor IPS (2004) presently DIG- Faridkot Range, Faridkot transferred as DIG- Ropar Range, Ropar, Punjab.
- Shri Sujit Singh IPS (2004 presently under transfer as DIG- STF Bathinda Range, Punjab transferred as DIG- Faridkot Range, Punjab.
