Ms. Kalpana Awasthi lAS (Uttar Pradesh 1990) presently posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy &Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GOI, has been appointed as Director General, National Productivity Council (NPC) under the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GOI by downgrading the post from Additional Secretary(AS) to JS level for two years under CSS on lateral shift basis, in place of Shri Harbhajan Singh lAS.
