IPS Reshuffle in Punjab ; See full list – Indian Bureaucracy | The Punjab Govt has shifted 19 IPS across the state with V K Bhawra IPS (1987) presently DG-Intelligence is now transferred as DG- Home Guards and Director- Civil Defence, Chandigarh, Varinder Kumar IPS (1993) presently ADGP- Security, Punjab is now transferred as ADGP (Intelligence), Gurpreet Kaur Deo IPS (1993) presently ADGP- Crime now transferred as ADGP- Community Affairs Division(CAD) with additional charge of Women and Child Affairs , S K Asthana IPS (1993) presently ADGP- Modernization is now transferred as ADGP- Human Rights while Shashi Prabha Dwivedi IPS (1993) presently ADGP- HRD with additional charge of Women and Child Affairs is now transferred as ADGP- Lokpal with additional charge of Punjab Police Election Cell.
Naresh Kumar IPS (1994) presently Inspector General of Police- Intelligence (Admin) now posted as ADGP- Crime (PBI & SCRB), Ram Singh IPS (1994) presently IGP- Information Technology and Technical Services, Punjab is now transferred as ADGP- Modernization, Sudhanshu S Srivastava IPS (1994) presently IGP (Intelligence) now posted as ADGP-Security, with additional charge of NRI Affairs Division, B Chandra Sekhar IPS (1994) presently IGP- Firozpeur Range, is now transferred as ADGP- Crime, Punjab with additional charge of ADGP-IVC, Punjab while Praveen Kumar Sinha IPS (1994) presently IGP- Prisons, Punjab now goes as ADGP- Prisons, Punjab .
