Assam Transfers – 9 IAS reshuffle in Assam State | The Assam Govt has reshuffled 9 IPS Officers across the state with immediate effect , the names of the officers are :

  1. Shri Anurag Agarwal IPS ( 1998) presently Inspector General of Police (T&AP), Assam is promoted  to the rank of Additional Director General of Police Grade  and posted as Additional Director General of Police (T&AP), Assam.
  2. Shri Surendra Kumar IPS ( 1998) presently Inspector General of Police (V&AC), Assam and Inspector General of Police (MPC), Assam posted as Addl Director General of Police (V&AC), Assam, Srirnantapur, Guwahati.
  3. Shri Satya Raj Hazarika IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (CR), Diphu  posted as Inspector General of Police, BTAD, Kokrajhar, Assam .
  4. Shri Jitmol Doley IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (NER), Tinsukia  posted as Inspector General of Police (NER), Tinsukia .
  5. Shri Abu Sufian IPS ( 2005) presentlyDeputy Inspector General of Police (Railway), Assam, Guwahati posted as Inspector General of Police (MPC), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati .
  6. Shri Arabinda Kalita IPS ( 2005) presently Managing Director- Assam Police Housing Corporation Ltd., Assam, Rehabari, Guwahati posted as Inspector General of Police, BI (EO), Assam, Srimantapur, Guwahati  and also continue to function as Managing Director- Assam Police Housing Corporation Ltd., Assam, Rehabari, Guwahati.
  7. Shri Imdadul Hussain Bora IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (Security), Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati posted as Inspector General of Police (Security), Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati .
  8. Shri Devojyoti Mukherjee IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (V&AC), Assam, Srimantapur, Guwahati posted as Inspector General of Police (CR), Nagaon .
  9. Shri Prasanta Sagar Changmai IPS ( 2005) presently Deputy Inspector General of Police (Admn.), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati is promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police and posted as Inspector General of Police (T&AP), Assam, Uiubari, Guwahati.
