RECAP || 8 IAS appointed at Secretary Level – Indian Bureaucracy News | The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of 8 IAS Officers as Secretary , Government of India, the names of the officers are:

  1. Shri Pradip Kumar Tripathi IAS (AGMUT 1987) presently Secretary- Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions transferred as Secretary- (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat.
  2. Ms. Neel Kamal Darbari IAS (Rajasthan 1987) presently Managing Director- Small Farmers’ AgriBusiness Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare transferred as Chairperson- National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention (rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India)
  3. Ms. S Radha Chauhan IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1988) presently in the cadre now appointed as Secretary- Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions .
  4. Shri Devendra Kumar Singh IAS (Kerala 1989) presently  Secretary- Ministry of Cooperation transferred as Secretary General- National Human Rights Commission ( rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India)
  5. Shri Gyanesh Kumar IAS (Kerala 1988) presently  Secretary- Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs transferred as Secretary- Ministry of Cooperation . The officer will also hold the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
  6. Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma IAS (Kerala 1990) presently  Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat transferred as Secretary- Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
  7. Shri Sanjay Kumar IAS (Bhar 1990) presently in the Cadre now appointed Secretary- Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
  8. Shri S K G  Rahate IAS (Jharkhand 1990) presently Additional Secretary- Ministry of Power appointed as Secretary- Department of Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice.
