A group of 255 probationers from the 2018 batch of Indian Railways met with President Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre .

The President encouraged the officers to innovate and lead in technological advancements for a people and eco-friendly transportation system.
Smt. Droupadi Murmu noted that train journeys hold special memories for passengers. She urged the officers to treat passengers as guests, ensuring the best possible experience. Safety was emphasized, with the President advocating for advanced technology and AI-based systems for a highly secure rail network.
