Ms.Vijay Lakshmi Joshi IAS (Gujarat 1980) presently posted as Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, has applied for VRS which will be effective from 31st October 2015.
Ms. Joshi is a graduate in English Litt and PG in Psychology., She started her Indian bureaucracy career in 1982 as Asstt Collector and has held many important portfolios at State and GOI level.She has been Under Secy-Defence (GOI), Jt Secy-Industries,Dy Director-LBSNAA, Chairman-Gujarat Electricity Board, Jt Secy-Commerce(GOI) to name a few.
