Shri Sumeet Jerath IAS (Assam Mehalaya 1985) presently Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs , has been appointed as Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat(SR) against the vacancy of Additional Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post as a measure personal to the officer.
