Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, former Director General, ICMR-cum-Secretary, Department of Health Research, has been given extension of foreign assignment as Deputy Director General for Programmes (DDP), World Health Organization (WHO), Geneva, Switzerland for the period beyond 18/ 11/2019 and up to 31/05/2021.
