There has been 6 Senior IAS appointed as Secretary , Government of India , the full list of names of the senior officers are :

  1. Shri Manoj Kumar Parida IAS (AGMUT 1986) presently in the cadre appointed  as Chairman- National Authority Chemical Weapons Convention in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India
  2. Shri B Anand IAS (Tamil Nadu 1987) presently Secretary- National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs appointed as Secretary- Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence upon superannuation of Shri Ravi Kant, IAS (BH:84) on 30.06.2021.
  3. Ms. Renuka Kumar IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1987) presently in the cadre appointed as Secretary- Ministry of Minority Affairs upon superannuation of Shri Pramod Kumar Das, IAS (MP:86) on 30.06.2021.
  4. Shri S K Dcv Verman IAS (Manipur 1988) presently Special Secretary- Ministry of Minority Affairs appointed as Secretary- National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India by temporarily upgrading the post vice Shri B. Anand, IAS (TN:87) upon his appointment as Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare.
  5. Shri Indevar Pandey IAS (West Bengal 1988) presently Secretary- Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare appointed as Secretary- Ministry of Women & Child Development upon superannuation of Shri Ram Mohan Mishra, IAS (AM:87) on 30.06.2021.
  6. Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1987) presently Special Secretary- Department of Agricultural Research & Education & Secretary, Indian Council of Agricultural Research appointed as Secretary- Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Department of Pensions & Pensioners Welfare vice Shri Indevar Pandey, lAS (WB:88) upon his appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development.
