Shri Rajeev Kumar IFS (2001), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Senegal has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Mozambique. Shri Rajeev Kumar was the Deputy Chief of Mission in Brasilia from May 2015 – December 2015. He also held the post of Counsellor in Embassy of India, Rome, from October 2011 until April 2015 where, among many diplomatic responsibilities, he held the position of APR to Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Food Programme (WFP) and IFAD. He has started his diplomatic career in 2001. He holds degrees in both Economics and Law.
