President Kovind lays foundation stone of Nyay Gram

President Ramnath Kovind has emphasized on conducting judicial work in common man’s language. Addressing a function at the Allahabad High Court after laying the foundation stone of Nyaya Gram project, he said adjournments of court hearings should be avoided to provide justice to poor people.
President Kovind also called for strengthening the alternative judicial system to provide justice faster and in the least expensive manner. He said, this system will help in expeditious disposal of pending cases. He appreciated both the bench and bar of Allahabad High Court for taking initiatives to expedite the pending cases in lower judiciary.

Mr Kovind also emphasized the need to provide judgements in local languages.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik said, measures should be taken to deliver justice to poor people with honesty and without any delay.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said his government is always ready to provide assistance for strengthening the judicial infrastructure. He urged both bench and bar to be alert on PIL being filed for the sake of publicity. He said, this trend adversely affect the common causes.
