Shri Pramod Kumar Aggarwal has taken over as CEO of Noida Authority, replacing Shri Rama Raman who will be shifted to Lucknow. Shri Aggarwal, who was the additional chief executive officer (ACEO) of Noida, was earlier made acting CEO authority on July 1, when Allahabad high court had objected . “Rama Raman has been relieved of his duties and he has handed over charge to me as per procedure,” Aggarwal said.

The UP government has put Raman on the waiting list and is expected to appoint him in some important department in Lucknow in the next few days, officials said.

Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Ms. Monika S Garg has been given the additional charge as OSD , Noida.

The UP government had first appointed Shri Rama Raman as CEO of the Greater Noida authority in 2010. On January 16, 2013, he was given the additional charge of the Noida authority CEO. Raman was made Noida CEO in place of Shri Sanjiv Saran in 2013. In May 2013, Raman was appointed chairman of the Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities as well.

Hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) filed by Jitendra Kumar Goyal, the Allahabad high court took a grim view of Raman’s continuance on the top posts for the last six years.
