PM interacts informally with IAS Officers participating in MCT Programme

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today interacted informally with about 100 senior IAS officers of Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary rank, participating in a mid-career training programme.

During the interaction, the officers shared their experiences in areas such as development works; agriculture, irrigation and food-processing; inflation; public health; tribal and social welfare; female foeticide; and skill development.

He emphasized the importance of continuous innovation and enhancement of administrative capacities and processes. He spoke of the importance of judicious use of technology and infrastructure in administration, and also mentioned his interaction with various Ministries and State Governments through the PRAGATI platform. He urged officers to work with mutual team spirit and trust.

The Minister of State in the PMO, Shri Jitendra Singh, Cabinet Secretary Shri P.K. Sinha, and Additional Principal Secretary in the PMO, Shri P.K Mishra were present on the occasion.
