NTPC to represent India at Global Management Challenge Trophy in Qatar

NTPC Team came second in the Asian Management Games ,conducted  by Asian Association of Management Organisation, and  has qualified to represent India at the Global level in the Global Management Challenge Trophy (GMC) to be held at Qatar in the third week of April 2017.

The team from NTPC Ltd , represented by Shri Ashish Aggarwal, Sr.Manager Finance , Shri Rakesh Arora, Sr. Manager(HR) , Shri  Arush Rastogi, Manager(Finance) and Shri K.M Prashanth, Addl.GM (Corporate Communication) , qualified after winning the Preliminary Round, Regional Final and Grand Finale and were declared first runners-up in the fiercely competitive National Final of the National Management Games(NMG) 2016 conducted by All India Management Association(AIMA). Over 100 corporates  participated in NMG 2016 from all over India.

The top two teams (Powergrid and NTPC Ltd)  of NMG 2016 competed with teams from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore , Macau etc in the Asian Management Games(AMG) held online in September 2016. In the Asian Management Games , NTPC finished second behind Macau and thus qualified from Asia to represent India at the Global Level.

The Global Management Challenge is the largest Strategy and Management Competition in the world. At present there are 34 countries from across the world to participate in the contest. Some of the countries are Australia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Singapore,Macau and United Kingdom.
