To support the students studying in NLC India schools and private schools in Neyveli in preparing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(NEET), NLCIL has partnered with Neyveli Telugu Samithi Educational Academy to provide quality NEET coaching to these students. The coaching classes were formally inaugurated at Jawahar Matriculation Higher Secondary School(JMHSS) Neyveli on 18.12.2017.
Dr Sarat Kumar Acharya, CMD, NLCIL the chief guest, launched NEET coaching classes at Meenakshi Hall, JMHSS, Neyveli. Speaking on the occasion Dr.Acharya said, as a socially responsible organization, NLCIL always seeks to provide quality education, training, and skill enhancement to improve the quality of living and livelihood of people live amongst our Project area. As part of this, management has come forward to provide quality coaching for students in and around Neyveli to crack NEET by collaborating with Altitude Coaching Centre, Hyderabad with a low fees structure (RS.6000 per month ) and providing 50% concession (under Consideration to extend more) to the poor students under its CSR Initiatives.
He said the organization was always ready to support projects in Education with an aim to provide equitable and quality education to transform lives through the continuous enhancement of knowledge and empowerment.
Shri R .Vikraman Director (HR) appealed to all students from educational Institutions of Neyveli to utilize this facility to realize their aspirations to become Doctors and bring laurels to the institutions as well as the company.
The NEET special intensive coaching classes will be organized for the 11th and 12th students in 4 batches with 50 numbers in each batch by the Altitude Coaching Centre, Hyderabad. The Altitude coaching centre is known for its success when 29 out of 33 students belonging to the Jawahar Higher Secondary School, Block-5 (CNN campus) cracked the NEET exam during the academic year 2016-17. Out of 612 students who studied there for last 10 years, 473 students have joined premier technical institutions like IIT ,NIT,BITS etc. Neyveli Telugu Samithi Educational Academy in coordination with Jawahar Education Society is running integrated coaching centre through M/s Altitude Classes.
Senior Officials of NLCIL, Students, Teachers and Heads of the various institutes of Neyveli and members of NTSEA participated in the programme.
