NLC India Limited has organised a two day National Level Power Seminar on September 9th & 10th 2016, as part of its Diamond Jubilee Celebrations at Neyveli.
The valedictory Function of the Two Day seminar held on 10th September 2016 at Learning & Development Centre, Neyveli, Wherein, Shri S.K Acharya, CMD, NLC India has participated as Chief Guest and delivered valedictory message. In his message, he emphasised on the various stumbling blocks in project management, regulatory controls, O & M, capacity addition, challenges in Power Generation, Grid management, handling competitive atmosphere in power sale and ramping up renewable energy. He said, to do excellent and efficient in project management one has to push their limitations time to time. He said this type of Seminars will help in analysing and providing new insights for any management and practitioners. He thanked delegates and participants for their overwhelming response.
Shri R.C Sri Vastav, former Director (HR), NTPC, the guest of honor in his message how Renewbale energy potential to help move the country toward cleaner, reliable, and affordable sources of electricity and he highlighted various problems related with Renewable energy like how producing energy is volatile and largely dependent on the environment which is causes grid stability problems and elaborated on the importance of overhaul in energy policies in favour of a comprehensive and clear-cut policy to encourage economic and social development through reliable energy supplies to create a well-functioning and financially-viable energy market in India.
To mark the occasion an Audio &Visual Training Tool was released by Shri S.K Acharya, and handed over first copy to Shri R.C Srivatsav.

In this two days National Seminar total 257 delegates including participants from various Organisations including NLC India participated and 76 Technical Papers in 16 different sessions, on various themes like Power Plant Performance, Super Critical Technology, Challenges in Power Market & Power Exchanges, Operational challenges, Renewable Energy and Environmental Issues and Challenges presented in the Seminar and , Also an exhibition was organised where in 14 leading Power Industry manufactures displayed their products.
