A high-level National Round Table Conference on National Education Policy 2016 and  Role of Information Technology is being jointly hosted by Sh. Vaibhav Aggarwal, Secretary General of the DigitalCon India Foundation & amp; Group CEO, Blade-BRAINS™ Group, and Sh. N.K. Goyal, President, CMAI.

This conference will bring forward the various thoughts and views of a pan India audience, in a multi-stake holder environment. The purpose is to assist the Government of India led by Sh. Narendra Modi honorable PM and Sh. Prakash Javadekar, Honourable Minister of HRD, in its efforts to bring about a change in the Indian education system, after a gap of over 30 years. The new National Education Policy is set to give the Indian Education System a new look and feel by improving the methodology used to provide education to Indians.

This Round Table will be discussing the report submitted by Sh. TSR Subramanian, Former Cabinet Secretary. And talk about the inclusion of maximum information technology to bring a more effective, younger and efficient system of learning in accordance to today’s India.

Many dignitaries are expected to attend this national round table, including Inauguration by Hon’ble Sh. P.P. Chaudhary, Minister of State for Electronics, IT, Law & Justice, Government of India, Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Member of Parliament and Sh. C.R. Patil, Member of Parliament, supported by Prof Dr. RK Khandal, Former Vice Chancellor of UPTU. A Closed door, Invitation only roundtable as planned, is expected to bring together more than 100 best brains from the Corporate and the Academic world and Civil Society including eminent scholars and academics from various Indian states; Multi- Government Representatives & Officers; Members of Parliament & Industry Leaders. The meeting is organized at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, on the margins of the 70th Independence Day, August 15, 2016 and the adoption of the New Education Policy is on the anvil.

DIF is the Conclave partner, who would be putting together the recommendations brought forward during the roundtable would also be leading a Multi- Stakeholder Delegation for presenting opinions and inputs, to the Prime Minister and the MHRD as a post follow up and endeavor to engage continuously on issues of national importance.
