National Highways Projects in Assam

The ministry of Road Transport and Highways is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of National Highways (NHs) in the Country. However, development of certain state roads were also being taken up under the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme for North East (SARDP-NE) and Central Road Fund (CRF). The number of projects undertaken during 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 are as given below:
