Shri Nanduri Srinivas IRTS( 1989) has joined as Director /OP &BD, DFCCIL on 15.06.2020.DFCCIL  has got regular Director/OP&BD after a gap of two and half year. Before Joining as Director, he was Executive Director/Fuel Transportation/NTPC Limited and before that Executive Director (coal movement), The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd.

He had done his schooling from Srikakulam a small town of Andhra Pradesh and 10 +2 from Kakinada before joining Agriculture College, Bapatla. After completing his master degree in Agriculture Economics from Indian Agricultural Research institute, Delhi, he joined Reserve Bank of India as Group B officer. In the year 1991 he joined Indian Railways and hold many important and challenging posts.He has done many innovations as GM/IRCTC, Hyderabad between May 2003 – April 2006. he Revolutionised catering services by introduction of automatic vending machines, food plazas, etc. He also introduced cost-efficient methods like Stock Management and Specialized Procurement to avoid wastage and improve sales. He introduced many innovative marketing practices and key player in improving the customer satisfaction level by adopting the “Rocket Man Operation” by Nestle in Secunderabad Station which proved to be highly profitable. He was among First to introduce eco-friendly, bio-degradable cups, plates etc. (“Earthen cups” for tea and “Flour plates” for serving eatables).

As Principal head of Zonal Railway Training Institute Moula Ali, Hyderabad he had reorganised training modules, Introduced State of the Art training facilities and brought about a revolutionary change to the Institute by methods of teaching and infrastructure creation.

Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Secunderabad division, SC Railway  was his next important assignment because he attained  the landmark of 50 million tonnes originating loading and improvement of 16% company growth to last year & Received the Efficiency shield for Operations and overall efficiency for the division- South Central Railway for 2007-08.

His next challenging assignment was Chief Traffic Planning Manager, South Western Railway for 3 years 7 months Hubli, Karnataka where his contribution is immense in Planning creation and upgradation of infrastructure in SWR. As Chief Passenger Transportation Manager, SWR he started and planned many Premium trains based on the demand for passenger movement; scheduling and timetabling of passenger carrying trains; analysis of passenger profile and planning types of services; planning for infrastructure and maintenance schedules to cater to different services; parcel and special train movement; coaching stock management and disaster management in charge for the zone.For efficient disaster management, successful & full restoration and normal operation of innovative operation procedure during the floods in coastal Andhra Pradesh in 1996, he had got Railway Minister’s Award.
