NALCO Mahila Samiti reaches out to tribal children

Nalco Mahila Samiti celebrated the 70th Independence Day with a difference, at Vivekananda Shikhya Kendra, Bhubaneswar. Led by Smt. Preeti Roy, President, the members visited the school and distributed School Uniforms to tribal children, who are being provided free education there. Also, sweets were distributed among all students.

On the occasion, Smt. Roy inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp, organized by Kasturi, an NGO, in association with Red Cross Society, in the school premises. Among others, Smt. Manasi Samal, Smt. Sabita Patnaik, Smt. Susmita Patel, Treasurer Smt. Smita Mishra, Jt. Secretary Smt. Namita Sahoo, Smt. Kakali Basu, Smt. Sanghamitra Mishra, Smt. Bijayalaxmi Patra of Nalco Mahila Samiti participated in the programme. Shri Amiya Patnaik, GM(H&A), Nalco and Shri M.M. Dhal, President of the Managing Committee of Vivekananda Shikhya Kendra were notably present on the occasion.
