MoS (Home) Haribhai P. Chaudhary inaugurates developmental projects in Dadra and Nagar Haveli

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary inaugurated several developmental projects in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli  worth over Rupees 70 crores. He also laid the foundation stone for the school buildings at Kilvani and Rakholi with a total cost of Rs. 7.12 crore. The projects inaugurated under the aegis of “Saal Ek, Shuruat Anek”, marking the completion of one year of the Government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, included the Water Treatment Plant of Silvasa Municipal Corporation worth Rs.29.82 crores, Kolak Bridge and Checkdam worth Rs.7.87 crores, Rakholi Bridge worth Rs.13.77 crores, Dudhani Water Supply Scheme worth Rs.10.00 crores and Floating Musical Dancing Fountain, Dadra Park worth Rs.9.89 crores.

Shri Haribhai P. Chaudhary also held a camp, namely “Prashashan Aapke Dwar” at Panchayat Ghar, Dapada to seek views of local people for further development and redressal of grievances. He also addressed a Press Conference to highlight the initiatives of Central Government at the National level and the initiatives taken for the development of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and other Union Territories.

Shri Haribhai P. Chaudhary later addressed a Public Meeting at the Kilvani Naka where he listed out the achievements of the Government of India during the last one year. Shri Natubhai G. Patel, Member of Parliament from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, local public representatives and Administrator, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and the senior officials of the administration were present.
