Lieutenant General Narinder Pal Singh Hira has taken over as the Chief of Staff of Headquarters Northern Command.Commissioned into Sikh Light Infantry in 1978, the General Officer has a rich experience in Western and Eastern Theatre and also in counter insurgency both in J&K and North East.
