Shri Krishan Kumar IFS (1984) presently Ambassador of India to the Czech Republic, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Norway. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. Shri  Krishan Kumar diplomatic assignments were in Indian Missions in Cairo, Riyadh, Maputo and Tokyo in different capacities.  Subsequently, he served in Amman and Paris before taking over as the Deputy Chief of Mission at Embassy of India, Riyadh and later in Brasilia.  He was the Division Chief of the Foreign Service Institute in New Delhi from September 2009 to June 2012. Mr. Krishan Kumar was Ambassador of India to Morocco from June 2012 to September 2015. He took over charge as Ambassador of India to the Czech Republic from 17 October 2015. Shri Kumar studied History at Delhi’s St. Stephen’s College and holds Masters degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (India).
