FICCI welcomes Mr Donald J Trump as the 45th President of United States. Indian Industry is very optimistic about the incoming administration under President Trump and future of India-US relations under the incoming new US administration. The optimism about President Trump stems from the fact that he promises major tax cuts and reforms, which may instil the US back on a 3-4% growth path, reviving not only the US economy but boosting the global economy. India US commercial relationship has come a long way and there would be need to make efforts to push ahead with a calibrated approach with looking for a bilateral trade agreement as a FTA and also work on the tough issues as immigration/visas to maintain a stable economic and commercial relationship.
