UP Government to end interview of Group B, C and D categories post-indianbureaucracy

The Uttar Pradesh Government has decided to end the process of holding interview for selection of candidates for the government jobs in all the non-gazetted posts of Group B, C and D categories.

The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting yesterday chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Our correspondent reports that the decision has been taken keeping in mind the system followed by the Government of India.

State Government spokesperson and Health Minister Sidharthnath Singh said that with an aim to bring transparency in recruitment in government jobs, the state government has decided to do away with interview in the recruitment of non-gazetted officers from Class II to IV.

However, for recruitment of gazetted officers in Class II category, Interview will be must. The spokesperson said the state government will follow the directives of the Union government.

This new rule will not be binding on the on-going recruitment for Class II officers.
