Ms. Chhavi Jha IRAS (1990) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier by temporarily upgrading one vacant post of Director vice Shri Shlok Bhardwaj, liS (1995) or till a regular JS level vacancy arises.
