Brig. Ranjit Singh, VSM, MADRAS (Inf), has been appointed as Inspector General (East) in the Assam Rifles in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.144200-218200/-) on deputation basis, for a period of 18 months w.e.f. the date of his assumption of charge of the post.
