ASSOCHAM participates in PMs Swachhata hi Sewa Campaign

Apex industry body ASSOCHAM today joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachhata hi Sewa Campaign’, by organising ”Swachchata Shramdaan” at Aanchal Special School at Chanakya Puri,  in the national capital today. 
 
Besides cleaning the premises of the school for differently-abled children by its staff, the ASSOCHAM also organised street play (‘Nukkad Natak’) on the theme of the Prime Minister’s flagship sanitation programme, ‘Swachch Bharat’.
 
The ‘Swachhata hi Sewa Campaign 2018′ launched by the Prime Minister on September 15, 2018 would continue till Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2.
 
The ASSOCHAM has been organising several events, including seminars and conferences on the flagship sanitation programme, in the past few months and years to join the government’s efforts for cleanliness.
