Shri Anil Sant IAS (Uttar Pradesh 1988), presently working as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, has been appointed as Additional Registrar General (JS level), 010 Registrar General & Census Commissioner India under the Ministry of Home Affairs, by treating the post akin to a Non-Central Staffing Scheme post, on lateral shift basis, from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of overall five years upto 03.09.2017 (further extendable upto a combined tenure till his superannuation i.e. 28.02.2019 on availability of NOC from the state) or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri C K Khaitan IAS (CG 1987).
