Shri Amitava Mukherjee IRAS (1995) assumed charge as Director (Finance) of National Mineral Development Corporation(NMDC) Limited. Prior to joining NMDC, he was holding the post of General Manager (Finance) in Rail VikasNigam Limited (RVNL) for a period of around two and half years. Shri Amitava is a Cost Accountant and also holds Master of Commerce Degree from Guru Ghasi Das University, Bilaspur. During his service in IRAS, he held various key positions in the Eastern Railways from 1997 to 2016. Before joining IRAS, he worked in Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) as Accounts Officer from 1994-1997.
