In national capital Delhi, people experienced mist in the morning with air quality index remaining in severe zone. According to CPCB data the average level of PM 10 was recorded at 474 while PM 2.5 was at 477. According to the MeT department, the visibility remained at 300 metres at 5.30 AM and 400 metres at 8.30 this morning. MeT department said there will be a partly cloudy SKY sky during the day, which may clear the prevailing smog condition in National capital region.

The rail, road and air traffic was affected due to mist. At the Indira Gandhi Airport, operations of about more than 50 flights were affected. According to the Northern Railways, 34 Delhi bound trains are reported to be running late. 21 trains have been rescheduled while 8 was canceled.
